| Confidence Issues |
Fear of public speaking is surprisingly the most common fear in the Western world. In fact it’s been reported that people fear speaking in public more than they fear their own deaths.
However, overcoming your public speaking fears is by no means impossible. In fact, many great orators and performers have been able to transcend panic and become exceptional speech makers, lecturers, teachers, and entertainers. I frequently see clients who are absolutely terrified of giving the best man or father of the bride's speech at weddings or Managers and academics who, although highly skilled in their own area, are uncomfortable giving talks and seminars. Very often these people subsequently go on to; not only enjoy the experience, but to look forward to the next time they get to do it!

| Low Self Esteem |
It's sad to think there are so many people out there who just don't realise how wonderful they really are! Self-esteem is not just about recognising your excellent qualities. It's being able to see all your good points and weaknesses together, acknowledging them, and doing your best with what you have. You may not be the best golfer in the world, but that shouldn't stop you enjoying playing the game! When you have low self-esteem, you feel unworthy of attention. Hypnotherapy can really help you to see the best aspects of yourself.

| Blushing |
Blushing is an unconscious, physical reaction that our bodies have to certain situations. Social blushing, the kind that may happen in an embarrassing situation or when we meet a certain person, and makes us feel uncomfortable is triggered by something external and is no different from any other learned response. Sometimes blushing problems can be traced back to a particular incident, for example, you may have blushed when asked to stand up and speak to the class as a child. By the time we reach adulthood, this learned response can cause big problems with our career or social life.
Hypnotherapy helps to control blushing by enabling you to feel more comfortable in situations where you are prone to becoming flushed. |
